Report Story My Testimony Long before my doubts about God, I was like any other little girl who was raised in a christian family- innocent, sweet, pure and I had always been a goody two shoes. School was the worst. From the time I was young, I had always been the quiet one. I didn’t have very many friends and often times I had been picked on. But even though it was rough and I knew that I wasn’t one of the most well liked or well known girls in the school, I kept my head held high and I toughed it out. For a long time, I had thought that pushing down the feelings was going to help. Unfortunately, I was lying to myself and to everyone else around me.
A christian dating an atheist
It came from challenging-religion. I have permission from the atheist to reproduce his questions so that I could respond to them here. His questions are illustrative of the lack of understanding by atheists of both logic and Christian theology. My recommendation is that atheists study both if they want to be a serious intellectual challenge to the Christian faith. Does God have free will?
I strongly recommend that you explain terms when you introduce them.
Christians who date atheists and vice versa were asked about their situations: How did they meet? Some of the highlights: For her it was not a big deal and neither it was for me. We agree on every religious aspect of raising potential children etcetera. Sometime I go to church just because she very much appreciates it. Overall I would not change one single thing.
Letter From an Atheist Married to a Christian
This may be one of the first verses you learned in Sunday school. No doubt you sang the song: This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine. Jesus said that we His disciples are the light of the world. We must not hide that light under a bushel or in a church building. We must let it shine.
You could, however, be friends or just date casually because you enjoy each other’s company.
I don’t mean to be a judgey downer, but how do you possibly see that working out? If you want your children to love Jesus deeply, hold out for a man that is Godly. God sent this man to me, who am I to cast him out because of his beliefs? I am a loyal servant of God, I asked for specific things and he was sent and he is perfect for me, who am I to question God or repel what he has given? There is a reason the Lord brought him to me.
My sons and daughters are blessed and blessings, my faith doesn’t need approval or to be strengthened by anyone it is strong on it’s own. Jesus will come to my children, he knows who we are, what I have is all of his and when it’s time to come to them he will and influences will be cast aside by the power of God. I have enough belief in the power of Christ and the Spirit is with my family, he has been chosen to accompany me for whatever reason the Lord has sent him. My future husband leads in life and things of the flesh and I in spiritual matters, I am strong enough to lead and he will follow me and I follow the Lord and eventually maybe he will walk beside me as we all follow the Lord.
Faith is what I have and what will see us through it matters more than any judgements of how un-Godly or Wrong it is by anyone of the flesh and what is “a man that is Godly” How do you know just how Godly any man is? He can do all the things expected of a Godly person but how does this judge the intentions of ones heart? Or the extent of ones spirituality possibility? Only God knows these things and that is all that matters to me.
From Atheist to Christian
This blog covers my thoughts and struggles as an ex-Christian. If you like, read my introductory post. I’ve also written two “concluding” posts on why I no longer post here that often. Feel free to comment! Not only did many readers respond in the comment section, but both Cori and I have received emails from Christians and non-believers alike, interested in the fact that we have managed to make our relationship work despite our differing worldviews.
The account I read of Jesus was impressive.

Next Christian dating an atheist ? Before anything else, I would like to say, I am an intellectual, rational, open-minded person. Just wanted to throw that out there, before some asshole decides to say “Oh, she’s Christian, therefore she’s some nut who believes in Zombie Jesus”. Anyways, my boyfriend of one year recently told me Anyways, my boyfriend of one year recently told me he was an atheist. Now, I already knew that he did not believe in God, but somehow, the fact that he told me that he was atheist kind of hit me hard Anyways, I really do love him, but I feel so conflicted inside Just as a response to those who say I’ve had some bigoted views against atheists: I remember one time, all I said was that “I believe in God”, and these two atheists wouldn’t stop harrassing for months until I finally I remember one time, all I said was that “I believe in God”, and these two atheists wouldn’t stop harrassing for months until I finally managed to block them off for good.
Because I know that many atheists are good people, but the ones I have encountered were anything but.

You both feel the attraction building up. What do you do? Now is not the time to decide! You must decide before you go on the date what your limits will be. Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers.
